Telefilm Canada offers a new search tool on its Web site
Montreal, May 31, 2006 - Telefilm Canada has just put online a new search
tool for its coproduction
directory, which allows users to search for coproduction companies or projects based
on criteria such as production year, coproducer country or genre. This search tool will allow Internet users to quickly find information that is important
to them.
Other search criteria are expected to be added to the tool in the coming weeks.
The goal of Telefilm Canada's coproduction directory is to provide valuable
information on the international coproduction activities of Canadian companies
— a scope of activities that allows the pooling of vital creative and financial
resources, while also facilitating the marketing of original, high-quality works.
The directory covers the 2000 to 2005 production years and is updated yearly.
The section on coproduction also provides information on current
international agreements and mini-treaties, statistics by country,
useful tools and links, and more.
