TVA-HEC Bursaries – Application deadline extended to September 27, 2007
Montréal, August 16, 2007 – Telefilm Canada has announced that the August 30 application deadline for the bursaries that the Corporation awards for the TVA-HEC Montréal television and film management program has been extended by one month to September 27, 2007.
The competition for the $3,200 bursaries is primarily intended for managers permanently employed by a Canadian production or distribution company. Conditional upon the applications received, a selection committee composed of Telefilm and HEC Montréal representatives will award five bursaries: three to Montréal-area managers, and two to managers from companies located more than 150 km from Montréal or to a Francophone manager from outside Quebec or to a manager from a visible minority or Aboriginal community in Quebec.
These bursaries will allow recipients to participate in the TVA-HEC Montréal television and film management training program to be held November 14 to 21, 2007 in Saint-Sauveur, in the Laurentians.
