In addition to the Competition, the World Focus section features films that were a hit at major international film festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Sundance, Rotterdam or Berlin.

The festival will invite the director and lead actor or actress of selected films in the international competition and offer a number of cash prizes totalling $US 90,000.

TIFFCOM, the festival affiliated business market, will hold its 15th edition in October 2018.
