7th Venice Biennale College – Cinema

Call for Entries

(For micro-budget feature film or transmedia projects)

The Biennale College – Cinema in Venice is currently accepting entries for its 2018-2019 workshop program open to emerging director and producer teams.

Please note that all projects must be submitted directly to the Biennale.

Organized by the Biennale di Venezia, the goal of Biennale College – Cinema is to bring to completion – at the end of a year-long series of activities that covers the entire spectrum of ideation, development, production, direction, audience engagement and distribution of a film – up to three feature-length micro-budget films (€ 150,000), which will subsequently be screened at the 2019 Venice Film Festival.

Biennale College – Cinema applications are open to teams formed by one director at their debut and one producer who has completed 3 audiovisual products or at least one feature film or documentary.

Biennale College will announce the selection at the end of August 2018 and will contact each successful applicant individually.
