Major Canadian presence of 15 productions at International Film Festival Rotterdam

Montreal, January 23, 2013 – Telefilm Canada is proud to announce that Canadian cinema will be well represented at International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), which runs from January 23 to February 3, 2013. Seven Canadian feature films, two installations and six shorts will be presented in various categories.


The project Rest Home by Quebec producer Serge Noël (Possibles Media) is among the 33 productions selected for the CineMart co-production market. In addition, three emerging Canadian producers will take part in Rotterdam Lab: Amy Belling (The Siblings), from British Columbia, Daniel Bekerman (Scythia Films), from Ontario, and Fanny-Laure Malo (La Boîte à Fanny), from Quebec.


Spectrum
Spectrum shows new and recent feature-length works by experienced filmmakers and artists who provide, in the opinion of IFFR, an essential contribution to international film culture.
