Official statement by Carolle Brabant, Executive Director of Telefilm Canada, regarding the selection of Denis Côté’s film Boris sans Béatrice in official competition at the Berlin International Film Festival

Montreal, December 11, 2015 – “On behalf of Telefilm Canada, I offer my warmest congratulations to director Denis Côté and the entire team behind the film Boris sans Béatrice, which will be presented in official competition at the Berlin International Film Festival.

“With this new work, Denis Côté will be making a return to Berlin in February 2016, given that he won the Alfred Bauer award at the festival in 2013 for his movie Vic + Flo Saw a Bear. His new movie, produced by Metafilms and distributed by K-Films Amérique, stars James Hyndman, Simone-Élise Girard and Denis Lavant.
