Programme d’aide à l’écriture de scénarios

Montréal, July 16, 2010 – Following a program review done in close collaboration with the industry, including the Canada Feature Film Fund Working Group, Telefilm Canada has announced the reopening of the Programme d’aide à l’écriture de scénarios for a two-year period, from 2010 to 2012.

Launched in 2000 as part of the Canada Feature Film Fund, the Programme d’aide à l’écriture de scénarios aims to develop and retain a pool of creative, talented and experienced screenwriters, and to produce a bank of Canadian feature film scripts with strong box-office potential.

The program encourages creative renewal and professional development, while seeking to ensure that Canada’s cultural, linguistic and regional diversity is reflected in the resulting films.
