Telefilm Canada announces closing date for funding requests for lower-budget English-language films (budgeted at under $2.5 million) for 2015-2016

Montreal, June 22, 2015 — Telefilm Canada is announcing the closing date for production and post-production funding support for lower-budget English-language films (less than $2.5 million). To date, requests far exceed the budget available and a significant portion of funding resources has been committed. As a result, Telefilm will no longer accept applications for the remainder of fiscal 2015-2016 as of June 26, 2015 (5 p.m. local time).
