For the time being, this job is performed 100% remotely. Once a return to the office would be announced, the incumbent could be required to work from our Toronto office. This position requires travel, estimated at about 25% of the time particularly during implementation of major changes, to one of our other office locations.
Reporting to the Vice President, Talent and Culture, the Manager, Organizational Transformation, provides expertise in organizational development and change management. Among other duties, the Manager ensures that the Corporation is equipped to live and embrace the cultural transformation related, amongst others, to the work of the future.
Contributes to the Corporation’s overall change management and organizational development strategy and acts as an expert advisor to senior management and works with various teams during the transformation, where employee experience and organizational performance are paramount.
Develops appropriate change management strategies to help prepare the organization for future transformations and implements proactive and effective communication plans to get resources on board with the transformation under way.
Improvements to processes
Develops and implements creative, innovative and sustainable solutions and supports internal stakeholders by helping them define their needs in order to propose value-creation solutions aligned with the organization’s needs and mission.
Through best practices and with the collaboration of the organization’s Project Management Office, gets various stakeholders to become fully involved in the success of the different transformation projects.
Engaging HR initiatives and organizational development
In conjunction with managers, identifies the organization’s human resources initiatives and needs to ensure and improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency and contributes to the development of innovative human resources programs aligned with Telefilm Canada’s reality.
Management and development of team members
Leads a team and guides employees and oversees their ongoing development, promotes knowledge sharing, seeks out opportunities for team improvement and maintains open two-way communication based on trust with team members.
COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Required academic training: University studies in organizational development, human resources or industrial relations or related discipline.
- Previous experience required: a minimum of 10 years
- Required language skills: Bilingualism required in French and English, both oral and written, at the CBC level.
- Expert level skills in change management, changes in current practices, policies and processes.
HIRING SALARY: $93 219 to $116 834
