The festival programs three international competitive sections.\u00a0Showcasing a broad range of works from accomplished filmmakers to student films, the festival has several competitive and non-competitive sections.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2022, the festival hosted the <strong>world premiere of the Canadian feature ROJEK<\/strong>. In 2023, the festival showcased three Canadian documentaries: <strong>CAITI BLUES<\/strong>, <strong>MOTHER SAIGON<\/strong> and <strong>WHILE THE GREEN GRASS GROWS<\/strong> (Switzerland\/Canada) which won the Grand Jury Prize.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Doc Outlook International Market<\/strong> complements the festival and fosters contacts for the funding and\u202fpromotion\u202fof films, as well as for networking and for acquiring film rights.\u202f More than 1000 participants from 50 countries (producers, buyers, decision makers, etc.) attend the market.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Telefilm Canada recognizes a selection of a <strong>feature-length film<\/strong> in the Festival for application to its <a href=\"https:\/\/telefilm.ca\/en\/financing\/international-marketing-festival-participation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>International Promotion Program<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Promotion and Communications&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<br>Telefilm Canada, Montr\u00e9al&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><a
