{"id":151064,"date":"2025-02-13T10:27:32","date_gmt":"2025-02-13T15:27:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/telefilm.ca\/?post_type=appel-inscription&#038;p=151064"},"modified":"2025-02-13T10:29:58","modified_gmt":"2025-02-13T15:29:58","slug":"impact-lab-cannes-film-market-2025","status":"publish","type":"appel-inscription","link":"https:\/\/telefilm.ca\/en\/appel-inscription\/impact-lab-cannes-film-market-2025","title":{"rendered":"ImpACT Lab \u2013 Cannes Film Market 2025\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"editor-content\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CALL FOR ENTRIES&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(Workshop, narrative feature-length emerging producers)<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Workshop \u2013 Emerging Producers with a project<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>in development suitable for co-production.<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Telefilm Canada, in partnership with the Cannes Film Market, is offering 2 emerging Canadian producers the opportunity to attend the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marchedufilm.com\/programs\/impact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">impACT Lab<\/a><\/strong>, organized by\u202fCannes Film Market\u202fas part of its 2025 edition.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2 selected emerging producers will have access to workshops with experts, each of them lasts 2 hours:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 workshops online before Cannes film Market.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 to 3 workshops during 2025 Cannes Film Market.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will also get visibility from Telefilm Canada and the Cannes Film Market as being part of the ImpACT Lab program, along with 1&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marchedufilm.com\/programs\/producers-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Producers Network<\/strong><\/a> badge per participant.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>E<\/strong>LIGIBILITY CRITERIA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to make sure that the ImpACT Lab is as fruitful as possible for each of the participants, several conditions and guidelines have been set up.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The ImpACT Lab is a program for emerging producers who have produced three or more short films and not more than one narrative feature in their\u202fcareer.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must have a feature film (narrative) project in development suitable for co-production, ideally with 20% of your funding secured.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The applicant must be a Canadian controlled entity within the meaning of the\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/laws-lois.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/acts\/I-21.8\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Investment Canada Act.<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are a Canadian citizen or have a landed permanent resident status.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are already planning to participate in the 2025 Cannes Film Market and you agree to cover your travel expenses.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"selection-process\">SELECTION PROCESS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The choice of 2 participants is conducted by Telefilm Canada and the selected candidates will be informed by end of March 2025.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Telefilm Canada will offer financial support to help the selected participants to attend the Market.
