Films selected in the\u202fInternational Competition\u202fare eligible for cash prizes including the Grand Prize<em> <\/em>for which the director receives \u20ac 5,000. Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival qualifies for the Oscars\u00ae.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taking place in parallel to the Festival is the\u202f<strong>Short Film Market <\/strong>(Feb 2-5, 2026), a meeting and a marketplace dedicated to short films. The International Short Film Market aims to facilitate economic activity and encourage professional interaction in the short film sector.\u202f It is a unique venue for meetings, promotion and networking.
