films<\/strong>\u202fand\u202f<strong>to spotlight Canadian companies, films, and talent\u202f<\/strong>to the\u202f10,000 professionals\u202ffrom more than 110 countries accredited by the cinemas.\u202f\u202f<\/strong>\u202fEvery film selected\u202fin Perspective Canada\u202fwill be screened\u202fonce\u202fat the EFM.\u202f\u202fApplicants\u202fwishing\u202fto present their\u202ffilm twice will have to cover 100% of the cost for the second screening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-h-3-font-size is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>SCREENING RATES<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-9e60ac78 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">EFM screening costs\u202frange\u202ffrom\u202f<strong>400 to 700 \u20ac per hour <\/strong>depending on the theater you choose.<strong> Telefilm Canada will cover a maximum of 250 euros\/on the EFM rate <em>per hour<\/em> of one market screening, while\u202fthe applicant must cover the\u202fremaining\u202fbalance.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">In the case of a foreign-based international sales company\u202frepresenting\u202fan invited Canadian film,\u202f<strong>Telefilm Canada will invoice the Canadian-controlled production company for the\u202fmarket\u202fscreening costs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The film selected in\u202fPerspective Canada\u202fwill also\u202fbenefit\u202ffrom a promotional campaign developed and entirely funded by Telefilm Canada to guarantee the best possible exposure for the invited Canadian films.\u202f&nbsp;\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-h-3-font-size is-layout-flow premieres\u202f<\/strong>by\u202fthe Berlinale,\u202fSundance\u202fFestival,\u202for\u202fRotterdam\u202fFestival\u202fin\u202f2026.<strong>\u202f<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-regular-font-size\">Eligible\u202f<strong>recent\u202ffilms<\/strong> that have won a recognized award on the national or international festival circuit in the\u202fmonths leading up to the\u202fmarket.<strong>\u202f<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-regular-font-size\">Eligible films with the most distinguished\u202ftrack record\u202fof performance at the Canadian box office in the months leading up to the market.<strong>\u202f<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Telefilm Canada shall\u202fseek\u202fto\u202fmaintain\u202fan appropriate regional\u202fbalance,\u202fto\u202fencourage films and distribution and production companies from all regions of Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">If selected, applicant must meet the\u202f<strong>EFM\u2019s deadlines <\/strong>\u202ffor\u202f the film\u202ffile upload, the market accreditation form, the\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.efm-berlinale.de\/en\/screenings\/film-entry\/film-entry.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>market screening registration form,<\/strong><\/a>\u202fas well as\u202fTelefilm Canada\u2019s delivery deadline of materials required for the promotional campaign\u202fplanned <strong>the first week of
