F<\/strong>eature-length fiction and documentary films<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Venice Days<\/strong>, an independent and parallel section, is organized by the National Association of Filmmakers (ANAC), and by the Association of 100 authors. It selects only 12 feature films worldwide <\/strong>and presents a<\/strong> cash prize of \u20ac 20,000<\/strong> to the filmmaker and the film’s international distributor (or, in the absence of which, the producer).<\/p>\n

Many Canadian films had their World Premieres at Venice Days over the last 13 years: EARLY WINTER <\/strong>(2015), GERONTOPHILIA <\/strong>(2013), SIDDHARTH <\/strong>(2013), STORIES WE TELL <\/strong>(2012), CAF\u00c9 DE FLORE <\/strong>(2011), INCENDIES <\/strong>(2010), C.R.A.Z.Y <\/strong>(2005 TIFF \u201cBest Canadian Feature Film\u201d<\/strong>)<\/strong>, R\u00caVES DE POUSSI\u00c8RE <\/strong>and CONTINENTAL, UN FILM SANS FUSIL <\/strong>(2007).<\/p>\n

In 2017, EYE ON JULIET <\/strong>by Kim Nguyen won the FEDEORA PRIZE \u2013 BEST FILM from the Jury of the Federation of Film Critics of Europe.<\/p>\n
