{"id":93077,"date":"2022-04-04T12:08:17","date_gmt":"2022-04-04T12:08:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/telefilm.ca\/appel-inscription\/65th-dok-leipzig-international-leipzig-festival-for-documentary-and-animated-film"},"modified":"2022-08-03T02:04:30","modified_gmt":"2022-08-03T02:04:30","slug":"65th-dok-leipzig-international-leipzig-festival-for-documentary-and-animated-film","status":"publish","type":"appel-inscription","link":"https:\/\/telefilm.ca\/en\/appel-inscription\/65th-dok-leipzig-international-leipzig-festival-for-documentary-and-animated-film","title":{"rendered":"65th DOK Leipzig &#8211; International Leipzig Festival for Documentary  and Animated Film"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"editor-content\"><h4 id=\"call-for-entries\">Call for entries<\/h4>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Feature and short films, Documentary, Animation &amp; XR)<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dok-leipzig.de\/?lang=en\">DOK Leipzig \u2013 International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film<\/a> is currently accepting entries for its 2022 edition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note that all films must be submitted directly to the festival.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submission format: password protected viewing links<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive: Yes<\/li>\n<li>Entry fees: Yes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5 id=\"eligibility\">Eligibility<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Films must not have been shown publicly prior to October 1, 2021;<\/li>\n<li>Duration: Documentaries and animation of any length;<\/li>\n<li>World, international and European premieres are preferred, German premieres is required for all competition.<\/li>\n<li>Films which were shown publicly on television, the Internet or via a regular cinema release in Germany before the end of DOK Leipzig 2022 (17.\u201323.10.2022) or which were available via download, stream or otherwise free of charge or against payment cannot qualify.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DOK Leipzig<\/strong> is an annual festival for documentary and animated films. Alongside its competition sections, the festival presents a number of sidebars. It is a well-attended festival with a programme selection at a crossroad between East and West. It is increasingly being portrayed as a first-rate address for the genre on the circuit.<\/p>\n<p>Under the title <strong>DOK Industry<\/strong>, the festival has established itself as an industry meeting place with platforms for professionals to sell films.
