We will look for and address any future accessibility barriers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our accessibility plans demonstrate our commitment to improve accessibility at Telefilm and within the audiovisual industry in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"2026-2028-accessibility-plan\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-toc=\"true\">2026-2028 Accessibility plan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a federally regulated organization, Telefilm is required to prepare and publish an accessibility plan, under the <a href=\"https:\/\/laws-lois.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/acts\/a-0.6\/\">Accessible Canada Act (ACA)<\/a> every three years. At the latest, the following alternative formats are available upon request within the timelines outlined in the ACA:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Within 15 calendar days of request:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Print<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Large print (increased font size)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Within 45 calendar days of request:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Braille (a system of raised dots that people who are blind or who have low vision can read with their fingers)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Audio (a recording of someone reading the text out loud)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To acquire an alternate format, please refer to the <a href=\"#contact-us\">Contact Us<\/a> section of this web page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"sharing-feedback\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-toc=\"true\">Sharing feedback<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Telefilm invites comments, feedback, and questions, including those submitted anonymously, from our staff, partners, and the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"what-can-i-give-feedback-about\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What can I give feedback about?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can give feedback about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>this accessibility plan and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>barriers you have encountered when interacting with Telefilm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Feedback can be given confidentially and anonymously. An Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility Advisor, or another designated staff member, will acknowledge receipt of your feedback through the same way that you contacted Telefilm. We will follow up with you within 5 business days (unless you submitted a comment anonymously). The response time by mail can take longer depending on postal delays. Your comments or questions will then be forwarded to the appropriate department. We are committed to reviewing the feedback we receive and taking steps to address barriers identified through your comments and questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"how-will-my-feedback-be-used\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How will my feedback be used?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your feedback will be shared with and considered by the teams responsible for accessibility at Telefilm. Feedback may also be shared with the department who can best address it. It may be actioned while the current accessibility plan is in place, or it may be considered for a future plan.
