This Statement explains the purposes for collecting and using that information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"participation-in-an-event-or-activity\">Participation in an Event or Activity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal information is collected in order to confirm your attendance so that you can partake in an event or activity organized by Telefilm Canada and its partners. Such information may include your name, e-mail address, along with (if applicable) desired number of tickets, the organization you are related to and the name of (s) person (s) accompanying you to the event or activity (if applicable). Note that this information may be shared with Telefilm Canada\u2019s partners for the activity or the event. The handling of such information by our partners is governed by their respective policies on information management and privacy protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collection and use of such personal information are in accordance with the <a href=\"http:\/\/laws-lois.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/acts\/p-21\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Privacy Act<\/em><\/a> and are in line with Telefilm Canada\u2019s mission as specified in <a href=\"https:\/\/lois-laws.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/acts\/C-16\/page-1.html#h-69451\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">section 10<\/a> of the <a href=\"http:\/\/laws-lois.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/acts\/C-16\/page-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Telefilm Canada Act<\/em><\/a>. Such information may be used for statistical, evaluation and reporting purposes.
