2022&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Closing date:<\/strong> November 4, 2022&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important changes:<\/strong>\u00a0<br><br>The Theatrical Exhibition Program will re-open this year to support the exhibition of Canadian films in theatres across the country in order to encourage audiences to return to theatres and to increase the visibility and accessibility of Canadian content.\u00a0<br><br>Through this program, Telefilm will distribute a portion of the funds from the Canada Arts and Culture Recovery Program (CACRP) and, for the second year in a row, from the Arts, Culture, Heritage and Sport Sector Recovery Fund (Recovery Fund).\u00a0\u00a0<br><br>The Recovery Fund, announced by the federal government on June 28, 2021, is administered through various existing programs within Canadian Heritage, as well as through programs delivered by the Canada Council for the Arts and Telefilm Canada.\u00a0\u00a0<br><br>The CACRP is intended to assist Canadian arts, culture and heritage organizations that have suffered revenue losses due to venue capacity limitations and the continued reluctance of audiences to return to see performances as a result of COVID-19. \u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>All important documents, such as the guidelines, FAQs, list of required documents are
