22nd Tribeca Film Festival
Call for entries
(Features, narrative and documentary, shorts, TV episodic, cross media works)
Telefilm Canada is currently accepting entries of feature films (narrative and documentary) on behalf of the Tribeca Festival. The festival provides a 15% discount off the current entry fee for features submitted via Telefilm Canada.
Shorts (under 40 min.), immersive and cross media projects, as well as TV series and pilots must be submitted directly on the festival platform. The regular festival entry fees will apply.

DESCRIPTION
In addition to its showcase of 100 features and 60 shorts of all genres, 30 immersive narrative works, episodic TV programs and pilots, the festival exhibits from virtual reality projects to cross-platform films, 360 films, websites, multimedia installations, and apps.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Feature Films (40 minutes or more) must not:
- Have screened publicly in the New York region.
- Have had ANY public screening, broadcast, distribution or exhibition before January 1, 2022.
SUBMISSION PROCESS
Complete the TRIBECA FESTIVAL 2023 registration form on Telefilm Canada platform here. You will need to log into your account or create one and then click on the Call for submissions tab.
After this first step is completed, we will email you the festival waiver code and link, and you will have to register on the festival website by January 18, 2023.
DISCOUNTED ENTRY FEES
- Early deadline, October 26, 2022: $55 USD
- Official deadline, December 7, 2022: $72 USD
- Late deadline, January 18, 2023: $93 USD
