The concurrent industry events comprise the 17th Animation Production Days, a 4-day coproduction and financing forum that brings together 170 participants from 20 countries with 50 projects in development, and the FMX – Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Immersive Media which attracts an additional 4,000 industry attendees.

Among the varied film programmes, the focus is on short films for adults and children. A total of up to 70,000 € in prize money is awarded in the various competition sections for features and shorts. The winning short film of the Grand Prix (15,000 €) automatically qualifies for the Oscar Animated short category.
