The Seattle International Film Festival is currently accepting entries for its 2025 edition. 

Please note that all films must be submitted directly to the Festival.

ABOUT

One of the largest and most highly attended film festivals in the United States, with over 250 feature, documentary and short films, the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) has an audience of over 138,000.  

The festival programs several competitions and awards cash prizes. SIFF Official Competition celebrates some of the year’s most accomplished films. Both the New Directors Competition, which features a selection debut or second features, and the Documentary Film Competition, present films without US distribution at the time of selection. 

The Short Film Competition selects 150 films and awards three cash prizes of $2,500 each in the categories of Live Action, Animation, and Documentary. SIFF is an Academy Award® qualifier in all three short film categories. 

The 2025 festival selection featured several Canadian films including Dead Lover, Shepherds, and The Things You Kill.
