Cannes 2026 | Canada Pavilion at the Marché du Film
CALL FOR ENTRIES
Telefilm Canada is currently accepting applications by Canadian companies for the Canada Pavilion at the Marché du Film in Cannes, taking place May 12 to 20, 2026.
Telefilm Canada, along with its partners, offers an array of services and special discount rates under the Canada Pavilion umbrella. Located at the heart of the Marché du Film, the Canada Pavilion provides meeting areas and a program designed to promote the Canadian industry and talent. The Canada Pavilion is in the International Village and will offer Canadians an open workspace with a terrace. Spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To participate in the Canada Pavilion at the Marché du Film, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- The applicant must be a Canadian controlled entity within the meaning of the Investment Canada Act;
- Participants must be employed by a private company based in Canada.
- The primary activity of the participant must be related to the film, television, or new media industry.
- Important notice: Sales agents are not permitted to conduct sales activities under the national pavilions. Sales agents are encouraged to contact the Film Market directly to learn about available options, such as booths, Croisette Packages, and market accreditations. However, sales agents are still invited to register to take advantage of the Canada @ Cannes 2026 promotional campaign and to be included on invitation lists.
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR BENEFITS
Promotional Code for Accreditation
- As a registered participant in the Canada Pavilion, you will receive a promotional code granting access to the Umbrella Rate until April 27. This code can be used for the purchase of your accreditation with the Marché du Film (on-site attendance – € 439). Please note that a separate code is required for each participant; ensure all participants are listed on your registration form accordingly.
- Important Notice: When purchasing your accreditation for the Marché du Film, be sure to apply the promotional code provided to you. No refunds will be issued by the Film Market if the accreditation is purchased without using the code. If you experience any difficulties with your code, please contact us for assistance prior to completing your purchase.
Canada Pavilion Services
During the Marché du Film, Canadian participants registered for the Canada Pavilion will have access to a range of onsite services designed to support business activities and foster industry connections. These amenities are provided to ensure a productive and comfortable experience throughout the event.
Facilities and Amenities
- Meeting areas: dedicated spaces are available for your business meetings, offering a professional environment to connect with clients and partners.
- Reception desk: a reception desk is staffed to receive and transmit messages, ensuring seamless communication during the market.
- Refreshments and snacks: coffee, water, juice, and other light refreshments are available for you and your clients throughout the day.
- Storage space: secure storage facilities are offered for your materials during the day, allowing you to manage your resources conveniently.
- Wireless Internet access: this service is offered exclusively by the Marché du Film to Market badge holders, allowing you to stay connected and conduct your professional activities efficiently.
- Business Support and Promotion
- Company profile in promotional Tools: your company profile will be featured in the Canada Pavilion’s promotional tools, including RDVcanada.ca, enhancing your visibility to international industry stakeholders.
- Access to coproduction Information: participants will have access to valuable co-production information throughout the market, supporting business development and partnership opportunities.
- Networking and promotional activities: when available, you will receive invitations to participate in various networking and promotional events organized under the Canada Pavilion umbrella, helping you expand your professional network. We encourage all participants to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information in their registration forms to ensure effective communication and tailored support during the event.
Environmental and Health Measures
- Paper Display Spaces: To reduce the ecological footprint paper display spaces will be limited.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE CANADA PAVILION
To participate in the Canada Pavilion at the Marché du film, please follow these steps to ensure your registration is complete and accurate:
- Submit the Canada Pavilion application before April 9, 2026.
- Upon receipt of the form, Telefilm will send you a promotional code for the umbrella rate and we will ask you to create or update your profile(s) on RDVCanada.ca (instructions to follow).
- Register with Marché du film to pay and confirm your badge. More information can be found here.

If you represent a sales company, please ensure that you also complete the Canada Pavilion application. You will then be asked to update your company profile on RDVCanada.ca as part of the registration process.
CANCELLATION TERMS
Refund or cancellation policies in regards of your accreditation are the responsibility of your contract with the Marché du Film and not Telefilm Canada. Telefilm Canada will not refund accreditation. As such, any request for a refund or cancellation must be addressed directly with the Marché du Film in accordance with their stated terms and conditions.
IMPORTANT DATES
- Deadline for registration under the Canada Pavilion: April 9
- Deadline to buy your accreditation with the Canada umbrella code (€439): April 27
- Deadline to buy your accreditation with the market EARLY BIRD (without a code, €459): February 2 to March 5
- Deadline to buy your accreditation with the market REGULAR RATE (without a code, €529): March 6 to April 27
- Deadline to buy your accreditation with the market LATE RATE (no code available, €629): Starting April 28
- Add-on Producers Network (+ €89): Registration is restricted to producers whose main activity is production and who have produced within the last four years at least one feature-length film commercially released in a theatre or commercially distributed on global video streaming platforms. Screenings during festivals will not be accepted as commercial distribution. These professionals must also provide proof of personal credits as a film producer (and not only their companies). Official documents may be required as proof to complete the request. Space is limited.
- Marché du film: May 12 to 20
- Festival du Cannes: May 12 to 23
As part of an agreement signed between SODEC and Telefilm Canada, any Québec company officially registered at the Canada Pavilion will be able to benefit from the advantages of programming and promotional tools put in place by SODEC, and vice versa.

- You must have a Dialogue Account in order to submit to this Call for Entries.
- If you receive an error message when clicking on the “SUBMIT HERE” button, please ensure that you have created a Dialogue account here.
- If you already have a Dialogue account, but receive an error message, please ensure that you have accepted the new Terms and Conditions from September 2023 under “Tasks”. This process is outlined in the User Guide, page 5.
