CALL FOR ENTRIES

(Feature-length documentaries in post-production) 

Presented in the CANNES DOCS section of the Marché du Film of the Festival de Cannes, the Canada Showcase is a unique initiative of Telefilm Canada produced in partnership with Les Rencontres internationales du documentaire de Montréal (“RIDM”) to launch your film in post-production on the international market.  

The Canada Showcase will present a selection of four feature-length documentaries in finalization stage, presented in the form of a brief pitch followed by a 10-minute clip. This initiative allows the producers and filmmakers to present their film to an audience of accredited professionals. 

The FORUM RIDM will select the four projects in March. In April, RIDM and Telefilm Canada will offer and coordinate virtual pitching training and personalized accompaniment provided by a renown international expert to the producers and directors for their presentation and their participation to the event.

The production companies behind the four selected projects will be able to apply to Telefilm Canada’s International Promotion Program for travel support.
