Call for Entries
(Documentary films or Digital Experience projects)
The International Documentary Festival FIPADOC is currently accepting applications for its upcoming edition. Please note that all films must be submitted directly to the Festival.
The festival also accepts documentary projects in development or production for the 2023 edition of the professional days organized alongside the festival. Documentary Projects for the Industry Days International Pitchs must also be submitted to FIPADOC directly.

ELIGIBILITY
Completed films
– Documentaries must have been produced between December 1, 2021, and November 30, 2022
– Films must be at least 50 minutes or a maximum of 20 minutes for short formats in length and may be in any documentary narrative format.
ABOUT
FIPADOC is an international documentary film festival held annually in January in Biarritz and is the first event on the circuit of Major International Documentary Festival each year. It brings members of the public and professionals together for screenings of a selection of outstanding documentary films. Hosting meet-and-greets and premiering new projects, FIPADOC is committed to promoting impact, innovation, image appreciation, and new talent.
Industry Days have become the unmissable event for documentary creation actors: the place where decision makers and audiovisual talents meet up to discover projects in development or in production, to discuss and imagine the documentary of tomorrow. The selected projects will be pitched on site by their representatives to a selection of professionals invited by FIPADOC and will ill benefit from a mandatory preparation workshop with the moderators and individualized follow-up from the Professional Days team. They will also benefit from individual meetings with potential partners organized by us before or after the pitch session.
SMART is a dedicated space for digital experience documentaries. It is the space where you can discover a selection of interactive films including virtual reality, 360° film experiences and interactive real-life stories and web series.
