When East Meets West Coproduction Forum

The Coproduction Forum When East Meets West is currently accepting applications for its 2023 edition.
Please note that all projects must be submitted directly to the WEMW official website.
ELIGIBILITY
- Producers must be from Europe, Canada, USA & Latin America;
- Projects must be long feature fiction films or documentaries in development with preferably 5-10% of the total budget already in place;
- Projects must have international co-production potential.
This event is dedicated to documentaries and feature films in development. Around 20 projects will be selected. The upcoming edition will bring together over 600 film professionals from more than 50 countries, in particular from the 2023 East & West countries in focus: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine & Spain, Portugal, Latin America. The event also organizes some work in progress sessions:
This is IT | Fiction Work-in-Progress Session
Section dedicated to long feature fiction films and hybrid works with a strong visual and artistic approach. Selected teams will have the chance to screen 8 minutes of their films in post-production (or at least partially shot) to an exclusive panel of international sales agents and A festival programmers.
