Kidscreen Summit 2022

Call for Entries

As a turnkey event for the kids entertainment industry, the 2022 Kidscreen Summit returns to its live format in Miami from February 14 to 17, with a companion virtual summit on March 7 to 11. Kidscreen brings together youth content creators, distributors, programmers, and more professionals to make new connections and to discover new talent and content.

In partnership with Youth Media Alliance (YMA), Telefilm Canada will support Canadian professionals and companies attending Kidscreen through a Canadian stand, meeting spaces, content promotion, our online directory, and more to come! The YMA will attend the 2022 Kidscreen Summit, thanks to Telefilm Canada, the Canada Media Fund (CMF), the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC), Ontario Creates, Creative BC and CMPA – BC.

Canadian professionals at Kidscreen are invited to submit a 30-second (max.) promotional video or trailer of their projects for the Canada Showreel. The showreel will play in the Delegate Lounge during the summit. Upload your clips by Monday, December 20th, 2021 using the instructions here.

Canadian industry professionals attending the Kidscreen Summit 202 can now register to the Directory of Canadians at Kidscreen 2022. By registering, we will give visibility to your company and producers through, plus you will be invited to Canadian activities organized on-site if any. To register, fill out or update your company and/or producer profile by January 31, 2022,  here and send an email to Erika Loyola noting your profile/s have been submitted.

Youth Media Alliance members can buy their Kidscreen Summit accreditation at a discounted rate of $1,395 US by contacting Laura Newman before December 31, 2021 (regular accreditation rate is $1,995 USD). Live Pass holders will have access to both the in-person summit (Feb 14 to 17) and the virtual edition (March 7 to 11). The cost of accreditation for the virtual edition only is $595 USD per person.

Canadian companies registered for the Kidscreen Summit, can reserve meeting tables in the Canada Delegate Lounge. Starting on January 5, 2022, you can contact Laura Newman to reserve 30-minute slots.
