ABOUT
The Rome Film Fest is organised by the Fondazione Cinema per Roma which is also one of the partners of the MIA – International Audio-visual Market. The festival is run by a new administrative and artistic directions since 2022.
The festival has an international competitive section, PROGRESSIVE CINEMA – Visions of Today for the World of Tomorrow, that presents 18 titles, with no distinction between fiction, documentary, and animated films. Two non-competitive sections completed the competition, FREESTYLE, consisting of around 15 titles of free formats, lengths and styles, and the GRAND PUBLIC section, devoted to cinema for a wider audience, with a priority given to films with an international premiere status.
22nd Alice Nella Città, an independent and parallel sidebar with its own organization and regulations, presents a selection of youth-oriented films and debut features.
