The Raindance Film Festival is currently accepting applications for its 2021 edition.
Please note that films must be submitted directly to the festival via FilmFreeWay.

Eligibility
The Festival accepts feature films (over 45 min), short films (under 45 min), music videos (under 6 min), 360/180 films and VR/AR/MR experiences (6Dof interactive or linear, CG or live action, under 120 min). Projects of all lengths and genres are welcome. Raindance Film Festival is committed to showing the boldest and most innovative work that challenges the boundaries of filmmaking.
- All submissions must have been completed after 1 January 2019;
- Feature Films must be at least UK Premieres: they must not have been released in the UK on any format, nor screened publicly online;
- There is no premiere policy for short films and music videos;

Raindance Film Festival is the largest independent film festival in the UK, currently rated top 10 international film festival for filmmakers to consider, according to studiobinder. It is based in the heart of London’s buzzing West End film district.
Raindance Film Festival is officially recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences USA, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and the British Independent Film Awards. Winners of Best Animation Short/Best Documentary Short/Short of the Festival) categories will qualify for Oscar®, and selected shorts also for BAFTA considerations.
Telefilm Canada recognizes the selection of a feature film in the Festival for applications to its International Festival participation Program.
