ABOUT
It’s All True – International Documentary Film Festival was created to promote critical consideration of non-fiction audio-visual production. Launched in 1996, it is one of the main events in Latin America dedicated exclusively to nonfiction productions and is held annually in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, simultaneously.
As the festival only requires a Brazilian premiere, it is an event that could be considered strategically only after your film have had its world or international premiere at another festival.
The leading representatives of the Brazilian audiovisual industry attend the festival, including distributors, producers, festivals scouts and TV commissioners.
The festival presents competitive programs for international short, medium or feature-length documentaries. An Oscar® qualifying festival for the short documentary category.
