Telefilm Canada is closely monitoring the measures that have been put in place by the Government of France and the potential impact that these may have on Sunny Side of the Doc. We are in regular contact with event organizers and will update clients should the situation change via our industry advisories.

Call for projects

(Factual content – Project in development or production)

Sunny Side of the Doc is currently looking for strong and original projects in development or production, with appeal to international broadcasters, co-producers and other funders for its 2020 edition.

Through 6 highly coveted pitching sessions and targeted matchmaking, a selection of 36 projects receive critical insights, find potential partners and seal financing deals.

**Covid-19: Sunny Side of the Doc adapts and remains committed to bringing its thematic pitching sessions and one-to-one meetings, in an online environment, no matter what. To this end, we are amending the submission rules to enable content producers and creators to submit their projects at a preferential rate of €90 excl. tax. Eligibility requirements and selection criteria remain unchanged.

Each June, Sunny Side of the Doc creates unique opportunities for the most exciting non-fiction concepts to be pitched directly in front of 300 top-level international buyers, commissioners and distributors in a live event setting.
