ABOUT
Founded in 1984, BUFF Film Festival has been the most important screening venue for films for children and young people in the Nordic countries. Each year, more than 100 films from 40 different countries screen to a young audience (ages 3-19). BUFF screens films that are told from the perspective of children or young people.
They are two international competitions, one for Best Children’s Film with a cash prize and one for Best Youth Film, where the awarded film is selected by a jury of students.
Canadian features that were recently invited at the festival: BEANS, VACARME, JULES AU PAYS D’ASHA, FALCON LAKE, YOU CAN LIVE FOREVER, COCO FARM, COEUR DE SLUSH, ÉCHO TO DELTA, SUR LA TERRE COMME AU CIEL.
Telefilm Canada recognizes a FEATURE FILM selection in this festival and may provide support through the International Promotion Program.
