72nd Festival de Cannes

Call for entries

(Narrative Feature Films)

Telefilm Canada is currently accepting entries of feature-length narratives on behalf of the Festival de Cannes, and its two parallel sections, the Directors’ Fortnight and the Critics’ Week, for the selection screenings to be held in Montréal from February 25 to March 14, 2019.

The invited programmers will be screening feature-length narratives in a theater in Montreal.
The Festival waives its entry fees for films submitted via TELEFILM CANADA (eTelefilm) to the selection screenings in Montréal.
Three invited delegates, each representing the selection committee of its respective section, will separately screen Canadian feature films for:

• • The 72nd Festival de Cannes – Sélection Officielle (Compétition, Hors compétition et Un Certain Regard)
  • The 51st Directors’ Fortnight
  • The 58th Critics’ Week

Information and registration process

*Feature documentaries as well as short films are not screened in Montréal and must be submitted directly to the Festival de Cannes and its parallel sections.

The Cannes Film Festival is the most important festival in the world: close to 40,000 accredited professionals and 4,000 journalists attend the Festival.
