The GABRIEL FIGUEROA FILM FUND of the Los Cabos International Film Festival  is currently accepting applications for its 2018 edition.

Please note that all submissions must be submitted directly to the festival.

Rules & Regulations

The GABRIEL FIGUEROA FILM FUND, one of the Festival’s industry platforms, aims to strengthen links, and promote collaboration among filmmakers from Mexico, the USA and Canada. Only projects from or co-produced with Mexico, USA or Canada will be taken into consideration.

10 projects of feature-length fiction or documentary at the development stage will be selected to participate in the GFFF-Meetings, a series of one-on-one meetings with representatives from the international film industry.

Airfare and 4 night hotel accommodation will be covered by the festival for the producer and director.

In addition, a jury will grant several cash awards including the Los Cabos Film in Development Award with $100,000.00 MXN, the CTT EXP & Rentals Award: with a value of $813, 067.20 MXN of filming equipment rental for four weeks (camera and optic) and the Talent On The Road/ World Talent House Award grants $150,000.00 MXN in cash to film produced by or co-produced with Mexico.
