ABOUT 

Talents and Short Film Market (TSFM) was founded in 2016 as an international market primarily focused on the short film ecosystem. TSFM aims to promote the growth of the short film industry in Europe and worldwide. Additionally, TSFM’s goal is to improve the impact of the short film and its professional industry on the broader film business and to nurture the development of new cinema authors and talents. 

Sections 

  • A Long Way Home  
    A Long Way Home is an online residency for kickstarting upcoming feature film projects based on or inspired by a previously released short film. The online residency will end with with an onsite pre-development pitch. The residency is divided into two strands: A Long Way Home for Filmmakers and A Long Way Home for Creative Producers. 
  • Highway To End 
    Highway To End is an international co-production pitch for work-in-progress (WIP) short films. Selected participants will have ten minutes to pitch their WIP short film to an audience of film professionals. Following the pitch session, participants will attend a series of one-to-one meetings with industry professionals scheduled by the TSFM team. 
  • Short Film Content 
    The Short Film Content call aims to collect content for both TSFM vol. 8 online Video-Library and onsite and online Market Screenings. 
  • XR Content 
    The XR Content call aims to collect 3DoF linear (non-interactive) narrative Extended Reality contents for the TSFM Vol. 8 onsite TSFM XR Theatre Market Screenings.
