Annecy International Animation Film Market (MIFA) 2025 | Canada Pavilion

CALL FOR ENTRIES 

Telefilm Canada and its partners are currently accepting registrations from Canadian companies working in the animation sector companies planning to attend MIFA 2025.   

Located in the heart of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the CANADA PAVILION at the MIFA will have a new design this year, as the organisers extended the site to include a second floor to welcome more professionals to the market. Again this year, our stand will provide an array of services, including meeting tables, a discounted rate on accreditation and promotional tools for the Canadian industry and talent. The goal of this initiative is to provide increased visibility for the attending Canadian companies and to support their growth abroad.  

Telefilm Canada will offer a reduced rate of 462.00€ with tax, a discount of 98€, on the purchase of a PRO badge. In addition, to all the services offered at the Pavilion and by the MIFA, you will get access to many events during the market. B2B meetings will also be organised by Telefilm Canada with specific countries. Invitations will be sent later to registered participants. SERVICES OFFERED WITH A REGISTRATION TO THE CANADA PAVILION

• Promotion of your company via Telefilm Canada’s promotional tools;  
• Invitation to B2B meetings organized by Telefilm Canada onsite. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 

• The applicant must be a Canadian controlled entity within the meaning of the Investment Canada Act;  
• Participants must be employed by a private company in Canada;  
• Participants primary activity must be related to the film, television or new media industry. 

*For clients from Quebec who wish to register for MIFA, please contact Chloé Lafrenière – Coordinator, International affairs, SODEC.  

*Via an agreement between Telefilm Canda and SODEC, any Quebec company registered under the Quebec Creative umbrella will be able to benefit from the programming and promotional tools put in place by Telefilm Canada and vice versa.   

HOW TO REGISTER 

• Complete the Canada Pavilion application here; 
• Upon receipt of the form, Telefilm Canada will review your registration and send you a link to register. Please do not register directly on the MIFA site.
