Call for Entries

(CFFF-Funded Features in post-production – narratives and documentaries)

Telefilm Canada’s FIRST LOOK is an international export and sales initiative that provides a preview of films in post-production to the acquisition’s community in New York and Los Angeles.

FIRST LOOK aims to introduce films currently in post-production and Canadian talent to American sales agents, distributors, agents and festival programmers during an on-invitation screening in each city. The sizzle reel of film clips will be presented in a theatre on the occasion of Telefilm Canada’s annual CANADA NOW showcase.

Producers of the selected films will be mentored by New York-based consultant to prepare their pitch and shape their clips and will be invited to attend panels and participate in networking events.

The selection process will be conducted by Telefilm Canada.
