Canada Pavilion at MIPTV 2023 

REGISTRATION OPEN 

Telefilm Canada is currently accepting registrations for Canadian production and distribution companies wishing to join the Canada Pavilion at MIPTV 2023. 

This year, the Canada Pavilion will be located on the Riviera 7 level, the main location of MIPTV (April 17 to 19).  We are offering a new concept of shared tables for your meetings so that you can maximize your presence at the event at a low cost. You will also be able to enjoy a covered terrace for your meetings. One free badge will be offered to the first 25 companies that register.

MIPTV remains an important international market for the financing, co-production, acquisition and sale of audiovisual content for all platforms. MIPDRAMA, MIPDOC and MIPFORMATS will be held in parallel to MIPTV.  

With sustainability in mind, the Canada Pavilion offers turnkey services at a reduced cost for companies to present a strong brand image, promote their projects, and join networking opportunities.

• Visitor – Shared table option  
  $550 CAD per company
  • Access to the Pavilion and services (Reception counter, WiFi, working space, storage and refreshment) 
  • Access to shared tables for your meeting (Reservation mandatory) 
  • Access to the outdoor terrace (first-come, first-served) 
  • Promotion of your company and products 
  • One free badge per company (offered to the first 25 registered companies)  
  • Umbrella rate for your accreditation (€630 EB until March 1st and then €755 after March 1st per participant)

Accreditation Umbrella Pricing: 

• MIPTV
  • One free accreditation offered to the first 25 registered companies 
  • Additional accreditation:
    • Early Bird Umbrella Rate until March 1st: €630
    • Regular Umbrella Rate after March 1st: €755

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• The applicant must be a Canadian controlled entity within the meaning of the Investment Canada Act; 
• Participants must be employed by a private company in Canada; 
• Participants primary activity must be related to the film, television or new media industry.

CANCELLATION TERMS

• Applicants who cancel their registration must pay Telefilm Canada the full amount of the selected option if their cancellation is received after Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
• In the event the Canada Pavilion is cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic (or any variant thereof), Telefilm Canada will reimburse to the applicant any payment made by the applicant to Telefilm Canada for any option chosen for the Canada Pavilion, the whole subject to the terms and conditions of the participation contract to be entered into between Telefilm Canada and the applicant. 
• The accreditation contract with RX France is personal, non-transferable and final, and no refund will be issued by RX France if a company’s representative cancels its participation, regardless of the date of cancellation. However, the accreditation may be transferred to another representative of the same company (same company name and same address) under some conditions. 
• Please note that the COVID-19 pandemic (or any variant thereof) may have consequences on the Canada Pavilion being held as described herein. It is strongly recommended that you comply with any travel advice and advisories issued by the Government of Canada at the time of MIPTV.
