International Animation Film Market (MIFA) 2024 | Canada Pavilion

CALL FOR ENTRIES 

Telefilm Canada and its partners are currently accepting applications from Canadian companies working in the animation sector companies interested in participating in MIFA 2024. 

DETAILS 

• Located at the heart of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the CANADA PAVILION at the MIFA will provide an array of services, including meeting tables,  discounted accreditation rates and a program of events designed to promote the Canadian industry and talent. The goal of this initiative is to provide increased visibility for the Canadian companies and to support their growth abroad.  
• Telefilm Canada will offer a reduced rate of 440.00€ with tax, a discount of 120€, on the purchase of a PRO badge. In addition, to all the services offered at the Pavilion and by the MIFA,  you will get access to many events during the market.  

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 

• The applicant must be a Canadian controlled entity within the meaning of the Investment Canada Act; 
• Participants must be employed by a private company in Canada; 
• Participants primary activity must be related to the film, television or new media industry. 

*Clients from Quebec who wish to register for MIFA:
Please contact Véronique Le Sayec, Déléguée des affaires internationales, SODEC. Via an agreement between Telefilm Canda and SODEC, any Quebec company registered under the Quebec Creative umbrella will be able to benefit from the programming and promotional tools put in place by Telefilm Canada and vice versa.

HOW TO REGISTER

• Complete the Canada Pavilion application here by May 10, 2024. 
• Clients from Quebec need to contact SODEC to register.
• Upon receipt of the form, Telefilm Canada will review your registration and send you a link to register and purchase your discounted accreditation.

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival is currently accepting submissions for animated films and VR works. Please note that you must submit directly to the festival.
