FIRST LOOK – USA 2022
CALL FOR ENTRIES
(Films currently in post-production, all genres)
Organized by Telefilm Canada and the Trade Commissioner Service of the Consulates General of Canada in New York and Los Angeles.
FIRST LOOK is a virtual international export and sales initiative that provides a preview of 10 films to the acquisition community in New York and Los Angeles.
FIRST LOOK aims to introduce films currently in post-production and talent from Canada to sales agents, distributors, agents and festival programmers in the United States.
In January, the selected participants will be mentored by New York and Los Angeles-based industry specialists to prepare their pitch and film clips in order to pitch to industry experts. (Delivery deadline of the excerpts by February 18, 2022. Participants will then discuss projects during on-invitation round tables and participate in one-on-one meetings that will take place virtually from March 28 to April 8, 2022.

Selection Criteria
Your application must be completed before January 9, 2022. Decisions will be rendered by Telefilm around January 26, 2022.
