Kidscreen Summit 2024

San Diego, USA, February 4 to 7, 2024

CALL FOR ENTRIES 

(Youth content creators, distributors) 

The 2024 Kidscreen Summit will be taking place this year in San Diego, USA from February 4 to 7, 2024.  

Through a partnership with Youth Media Alliance, Telefilm Canada will support Canadian professionals and companies attending Kidscreen through a Canada Showreel, a Canadian delegation directory on our website RDV Canada, and an onsite Canadian meeting space. 

Please see below on how to take part in the Summit. 

CANADA SHOWREEL 

Canadian attendees of Kidscreen are invited to submit 1 (one) x 30-second (max.) promotional video or trailer of their projects for the Canada Showreel. The showreel will play in the Delegate Lounge for the duration of the conference. Please note, only Canadian content may be submitted.  

Technical Specifications: 

  • Format: ProRes 422 (1920×1080), No sound, Framerate original, No text or logos 
  • Labelling: COMPANYNAME_PROVINCE_TITLE.mov or COMPANYNAME_PROVINCE_TITLE.mp4

DISCOUNTED ACCREDITATION 

Youth Media Alliance members can buy their Kidscreen Summit accreditation at a discounted rate of $1595 USD. Write to the YMA for the promo code.

DIRECTORY OF CANADIANS

Canadian industry professionals attending the Kidscreen Summit 2024 can now register to the Directory of Canadians at Kidscreen 2024. By registering, your company and producers will be provided more visibility.

CANADA SPACE MEETING TABLES 

There will be 6 meeting tables that Canadian delegates can book in 30-minute slots from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 4th to 7th. There is a limit of 6 appointments per day per person. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

CANADIAN GET TOGETHER 

You are cordially invited to an informal Get-together in the Canadian Delegation booth on Feb. 4th 2024 at 10 AM to kick off the Kidscreen Summit. Bring your coffee!
