10th Beijing International Film Festival

CALL FOR ENTRIES

(Feature films: fiction, animation and documentary)

The Beijing International Film Festival is currently accepting entries for its 2020 edition.

Please note that all films must be submitted directly to the festival.

  • Competitive: Yes
  • Entry Fees: No

 

Eligibility
  • Films must have been completed after January 1, 2019;
  • Films must be +70 minutes or +60 minutes for animation.

 

The Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) is organized by the Film Bureau of the General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of People’s Republic of China, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, Huairou District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, Beijing TV Station and Beijing Enterprises Group Real-Estate CO Ltd.

Events held at the 9th BJIFF comprise the Tiantan Awards (Competition section), Out-of-competition sections, Film Market and Theme Forum. The Tiantan Awards include: Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Music And Best Visual Effects. The winners of these awards will be announced during the Closing and Award Ceremony.

Telefilm Canada recognizes selection in the Festival for application to its Participation to international festivals and events support program.
