The Hamburg Film Festival is currently accepting entries for its 2022 edition.
Please note that all films must be submitted directly to the festival.

Eligibility
- Must not have been released in Germany prior to the festival.
- Feature length films must be over 60 minutes.
- Only films completed after June 30, 2021, may be submitted.
About
In nine sections, FILMFEST HAMBURG shows national and international feature films and documentaries as world premieres, European or German premieres. The programme spectrum ranges from sophisticated art house films to innovative mainstream cinema.
FILMFEST HAMBURG attracts more than 45,000 cinema fans. Over ten days, around 110 national and international feature films and documentaries are shown on 13 screens. FILMFEST HAMBURG awards several prizes totaling 125,000 euros.
In addition to its regular sections, the festival dedicates a specific section for American and Canadian called TRANSATLANTIK.
Telefilm Canada recognizes selection of a feature film in the festival for applications to its International Promotion Program.
