The Mar del Plata International Film Festival is currently accepting entries for its 2022 edition. Please note that all films must be submitted directly to the festival.

Eligibility
- Films must not have been released in Argentina;
- Films must have been produced after November 2021;
- Projection copies are required to have subtitles in English.
Mar del Plata International Film Festival is produced by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) of Argentina. As the only Latin American Competitive Festival recognized by the International Federation of Film Producers Association / FIAPF (Class A), the Festival’s objective is to present the best of national and international cinematography, in order to contribute to the development of culture, the advancement of the industry and its dissemination worldwide.
Two competitive sections present international features, and the Panorama section presents Best of the year films.
In 2021, the Canadian selected films were SOCIAL HYGIENE by Denis Côté, in the Panorama section, and STE. ANNE, by Rhayne Vermette, programmed in the Altered States Competition, a section that explores new narrative forms and innovative cinematographic languages.
Telefilm Canada recognizes the selection of a feature film in the festival for applications to its International Promotion Program.
