 about

Every year, during the month of April, the city of Brussels becomes the capital of all things Fantastic. The BIFFF, one of the biggest International Fantastic Film Festivals of the world (certainly the craziest), screens more than 100 movies during its 13-day marathon, ranging from Fantasy to Thriller, Sci-Fi, Cult, Horror, Anime, Experimental, underground, etc., of which some 90 features and 50 shorts in World, International, European or Belgian premiere.

In 2021, Dusty Mancinelli & Madeleine Sims-Fewer received the Mention White Raven for their film Violation. Canadian Shorts Mr James is Dead (Daniel Irving & Josh Aries), We Came From the Sea (Jeremy Lutter), The Archivists (Igor Drljaca), They’re Here (Sid Zanforlin) and You Don’t Know Me (Isabelle Giroux & David Emond-Ferrat) were also presented in the International Short film selection.
