Submission Deadlines
  • Regular deadline: July 3, 2022, for films completed in 2021 (after October 1st)
  • Late Deadline: October 3, 2022, for films completed in 2022

 

 

About

The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival is the most important short film festivals in the world. Films selected in the International Competition are eligible for cash prizes including the Grand Prize for which the director receives 5,000 euros. Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival qualifies for the Oscars®.

The Festival also features the 38th Short Film Market, a meeting and a marketplace dedicated to short films. The International Short Film Market aims to facilitate economic activity and encouraging professional interaction in the short film sector.  It is a unique venue for meetings, promotion and networking. All films submitted to the International Competition of the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, whether or not selected, will be referenced in the digital catalogue of the International Short Film Market.

 

Telefilm Canada recognizes the selection of a short film in this festival for application to its International Promotion Program.
