62nd International Film Festival for Children and Youth (Zlin Film Festival)

(Feature length fiction, documentaries, student shorts, animated shorts) 

The International Film Festival for Children and Youth is currently accepting entries for its 2022 edition. 

Please note that all films must be submitted directly to the Festival. 

  • Submission format: DVD or an on-line screener with English subtitles 
  • Competitive: Yes
  • Entry fees: No 
Eligibility 
  • Films in competition must have been completed after January 1, 2020;  
  • Animated films in competition must not be longer than 15 minutes;  
  • Screening formats for film in Competition: DCP. 

Focused on cinema for children and young audiences, and with over 60 years of history, the festival has established a strong reputation amongst international film professionals. It features several international competitions, augmented by industry events and special events. 

Telefilm Canada recognizes a FEATURE FILM selection in this festival and may provide assistance through theInternational Festival Participation Program.
