The Berlin International Film Festival’s Berlinale Talents is currently accepting entries for its 2021 edition.

Please note that all entries must be submitted directly to the Berlinale Talents office in Berlin.

The Berlinale Talents is a creative academy and networking platform for 250 creatives from the fields of film and drama series. It is aimed for film and television professionals in the 5 to 10 years of their career (directors, screenwriters, producers, sales agents, distributors, actors, cinematographers, editors, sound designers, production designers, score composers, film critics and audience designers- New).

 Since its creation, the Berlinale Talents has given the Berlin International Film Festival a new hub of creative energy. The Festival’s Berlinale Talents invites young filmmakers from all over the world to attend workshops, share ideas and mingle with international stars and colleagues. Its six-day programme touches on the essential issues of filmmaking and distribution: the latest technical developments, creative tools, stylistic trends, new markets, new ways of reaching audiences and philosophical perspectives.

*Due to the Covid-19 situation, Berlinale Talent is planning to expand its digital offerings and partnerships to reach participants and audiences who might not be able to attend in person.
