Please note that films must be submitted directly to the festival.

Eligibility

Films must be :

• German premieres;
• 52 minutes and more;
• Completed after January 1, 2020.

DOK.fest München presents artistically valuable, socially relevant documentaries. In recent years, it has developed into one of the largest documentary film festivals in Europe. The international programme includes three main competition sections and fifteen awards (2,500 to 10,000 Euros).

DOK.forum Marketplace also invites an international guest delegation – in 2020 filmmakers from Canada will be welcomed and thus warmly invited to submit!

In 2021, Canada will be the Guest Country of Honour at DOKfest München.
