Telefilm Canada’s agreement with EAVE will allow for two Canadian producers to participate in the EAVE Producers Workshop 2019.
Canadian applicants applying to attend EAVE Producers Workshop 2019 with a production project will automatically be considered for a scholarship granted by Telefilm Canada to cover the participation fee of € 3,000. In addition, applicants will be eligible to apply for travel grants to attend the workshops via Telefilm’s International Marketing Programme. Participants will have to cover the accommodation fees (€ 1,600 per workshop).

EAVE, European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs, is one of the leading training and development providers for producers in Europe, renowned for its EAVE Producers Workshop. It is aimed at producers, both fiction and documentary, who are already working in the film and television industries who wish to begin to operate on a European wide basis by increasing their knowledge of producing and co-producing in Europe and by building up a pan European professional network.
Each year fifty participants are selected from most of the EU countries and beyond and take part in three one-week long workshops.
EAVE graduates join a unique network of active European producers which forms one of the backbones of the industry. Furthermore, EAVE participants and members benefit from our partnerships with the leading European film festivals and markets where EAVE facilitates graduate participation.
