FOCUS Connect: Co-production opportunities between Canada & Scotland

Film City Futures is currently planning to deliver FOCUS Connect – a series of virtual sessions on co-production opportunities between Scottish and Canadian indies. These will cover both Scripted and Nonscripted content. It is anticipated that the sessions will be delivered during February and March 2022.

Please note that all companies must be submitted directly to Focus Connect by Friday, January 14, 2022 (noon).

FOCUS is a pilot programme delivered by Film City Futures with funding from Screen Scotland (and in the first 2 years with Scottish Enterprise). The project was developed in response to feedback from the screen sector in Scotland which highlighted the need for sector specific business development support for film and television companies working in Scotland.

The aim of the project is to support the growth of independent film, TV and animation companies to grow their businesses. This is achieved through 1-2-1 consultancies, events, business labs, surgeries etc.
